Shark Tank Season 15 LIVE — Wellington fans furious at investors for 'missed opportunity' as upstarts leave empty-handed

By Rachel Fowler |

A breakdown of last night's show

Last night, four entrepreneurs dove into the tank with hopes of securing a partnership with one of the Sharks.

Bot-It, a software program where consumers can use bots with no coding experience scored a deal with Michael and Mark for $300,000 and a 30% stake in the company.

Next up was Wellingtons, a duo that creates a variety of pre-made beef wellingtons that just need to be heated in the oven.

The company unfortunately wasn't able to persuade a Shark to invest.

Glove Wrap, a product that can break in a baseball glove secured a deal with Michael and Mark for $55,000 and a 22% stake in the company.

Lastly, Blaine Anderson's company, Dating by Blaine secured a deal with Mark for $100,000 and a 10% stake in the company.

Recurring investors on show

Recurring guests appear alongside the show’s original six investors. Below are some special guest investors on Shark Tank:

  • Emma Grede
  • Peter Jones CBE
  • Daniel Lubetzky
  • Gwyneth Paltrow
  • Tony Xu

Behind-the-scenes

While viewers see product pitches air in 10-minute segments, business owners are often hashing out details with the Sharks for an hour or more, according to Mentalfloss.

“The first time, I was in there 45 minutes,” said Aaron Marino, who appeared in a season four episode with his Alpha M image consultation business.

He added that the show cuts a lot of the business talk that can last an hour or more.
