Katie Maloney & Ariana Madix sneakily use other shop’s sandwiches in Vanderpump Rules opening credits as launch delayed
KATIE Maloney and Ariana Madix used another shop’s sandwiches inside their still-unopened eatery Something About Her for the Vanderpump Rules season 11 opening credits, The U.S. Sun can exclusively reveal.
The Vanderpump Rules opening scene shows Ariana, 38, and Katie, 36, posing inside Something About Her, which The U.S. Sun has reported still has no set opening date.

Now, it can be revealed that the entire beginning scene showing the women inside their business was set up.
A source told The U.S. Sun: "Something About Her is not open, so at the time, they hired extras to act like customers and fake waiters.
"They also got food catered from another local business, so the sandwiches they filmed are not their own."
The opening scene at Ariana and Katie's West Hollywood shop was filmed on October 18, 2023, according to a fan who captured filming on TikTok.

In the video, extras can be seen sitting at staged tables in the front of the shop as cameras roll.
There also appears to be producers on set giving the reality stars directions on what to do, as well as other crew and a hair and makeup team.
Separately, the opening credits feature Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval at their bar TomTom, and the rest of the cast - Lala Kent, James Kennedy, Scheana Shay and Lisa Vanderpump - at Sur, both of which are currently open to the public.
The U.S. Sun has reached out to Bravo for comment.

FANS WEIGH IN
Fans picked up on the fakery behind the opening credits and demanded answers.
Commenting on BravoTV's Instagram post, one person wrote: "But where is this sandwich shop?!"
Another user questioned: "How is the opening in a restaurant that doesn’t exist?"
A third joked: "Seriously with the fake sandwich shop? Lol."
Finally, a fourth remarked: "Why hasn’t the sandwich shop opened? But they are selling merchandise on social media?"
OPENING 'ON PAUSE'
The business owners have spent nearly $1 million on renovations on getting the shop up and running.
However, Something About Her faces a slew of issues with the City of West Hollywood when it comes to getting official permits.
Right now, the opening has been "put on pause" and staff - except for a few involved behind the scenes - has yet to be hired.
In new photos of the restaurant, obtained by The U.S. Sun earlier this month, the front patio had been knocked down and the Something About Her sign had been taken down.
Ariana and Katie had to file new paperwork to get approval on a patio that is acceptable by the city. This is still pending.
Also, the shop needs a whole new flooring makeover.
A source told The U.S. Sun that the floor they have is "not for open food use," so now "the entire flooring has to be pulled out."
FILMED FOR TV
As the reality stars face issue after issue, they have managed to capture their journey and all the drama in opening the shop for VPR.
What fans will see in season 11 is scenes that were set up for the show to "continue a storyline," an insider claimed.
"There have been a lot of staged scenes at Something About Her to basically continue the storyline about the shop."
The insider added: "It's actually not even close to opening, but Ariana and Katie have been teasing the store as if it's opening, like, tomorrow."
In season 10, they filmed a sandwich tasting at Something About Her with their co-stars, including Lala and Scheana.
They have all gotten a bite at the tasting menu before even opening.
LISA'S CONCERNS
VPR creator and executive producer, Lisa Vanderpump, has since become concerned about the shop opening, especially after she has been left "in the dark."
An insider told The U.S. Sun, "Lisa has recently expressed concern about the progress of the shop and when it's expected to open.
"She had a lot of questions about what was going on and was seeking answers from those who could provide more insight."
The insider added that she brought up the conversation about Something About Her after The U.S. Sun ran multiple stories about it.
The insider spilled: "Lisa has been doing a hands-off approach and letting Ariana and Katie run the show when it comes to the shop.

"Quite frankly, it appears she only steps in when it comes to filming at the shop or having a conversation about the shop for the show."
More drama on the sandwich shop will unfold when season 11 of VPR premieres on January 30 at 8pm ET on Bravo.
