I'm a caretaker at America's creepiest haunted house - the ghost of a little girl grabbed my daughter's leg
A CARETAKER at one of America's most haunted houses has told how she was left terrified after encountering the ghost of a little girl at the creepy property.
Bonnie LeTourneau, a caretaker at the May-Stringer House, located in Brooksville, Florida, says she has experienced being slapped and pushed by unexplained entities in the house - but the most shocking encounter was when said she and her nine-year-old daughter were getting ready to lock the property up one night.

The volunteer, who has taken part in a new documentary show about haunted houses called A Haunting We Will Go, says she could hear her daughter's footsteps upstairs before chillingly a second set of footsteps appeared to follow behind.
"I was a brand new member volunteer it was my third Saturday of doing day tours," Bonnie says in an unreleased clip of the show, exclusively shared with The U.S. Sun.
"There was no ghost hunting yet, there were no ghost tours, it was the very early days.
"I was sitting in the entryway one Saturday afternoon and it was closing time so I sent my nine-year-old daughter to go upstairs and turn out the lights.

"Now, I could hear her sneakers going from room to room and I could hear a second set of footsteps. These were little shoes going tap, tap, tap.
"My daughter's sneakers started going really fast and she came tearing down the front staircase.
"She looked at me and said, 'Mama don't ever make me go anywhere in this house by myself again.
"I said: 'I won't! I heard footsteps,' she said: 'Never mind that, there was a little girl upstairs who was grabbing the back of my leg."

Bonnie added that her daughter sticks to the story to this day.
Filmmaker Christopher Garetano told The U.S. Sun that he wanted to make the ultimate ghost show that would celebrate Halloween, horror movies, and ghost stories.
"What's great about the May-Stringer mansion, is that on Halloween, the entire town of Brooksville gets together and it is filled," he said.
"Hundreds of people show up to this haunted mansion and they do a walk-through with all of these different people, similar to a haunted house at an amusement park, but inside a real haunted mansion.
" I asked different people that have different experiences there for their stories, everybody from the ghost hunters to Bonnie the caretaker.
"She has experienced being slapped and pushed. She says that one of the most haunted places in the house is the attic.
"We know that a gentleman committed suicide in that house."
Christopher, who has made many films about the paranormal including Discovery Channel's Strange World and the Montauk Chronicles about sinister government experiments on humans, says he too believes in ghosts after having two encounters himself.
"I don't know what ghosts are, but I do believe in them 100 percent because I've seen one," he said.
"I was living in in Michigan for a couple of years and my girlfriend at the time was sleeping in the bedroom and I was in the living room. I'm looking down and there's a hallway I have to the left of my office. And then down the dark hallway at the very end is the bedroom door, which was shut.
"And so I'm on the phone and I see what I thought was my ex walking and I didn't recognize what she was wearing and it looked like a white nightgown walking down the hallway and then into my office.
"From that point, my eyes are locked because I thought 'That was strange'.
"And then I get off the phone and then I walk directly into the office and nobody's there. Windows shut. Snow is building up on the window. Nobody opened the window. Nobody jumped out.
"And then, I walk over to the bedroom, the door was shut and it was dark in the hallway and I entered the room. My girlfriend is wrapped up in her blankets, sleeping as if she was for many hours. And I said, 'Did you just walk into my office?' She said, 'No'."
Christopher, who also hosted History Channel’s The Dark Files, said it was his own experience of ghost sightings and hearing ghost stories as a child - as well as a love for Halloween - that inspired the new show.
"It's interesting that you have these traditions that that go way back to the Celtic times and the Druids that have actually carried on to now," he said.
"I think the celebration of Halloween number is one all over the world, which it wasn't a century ago.
"The most amazing thing about it is that these ancient traditions, have literally carried on to modern day. There are these Halloween supermarkets and amusement parks like Universal Studios having horror nights.
"Most people don't think of the origins of Halloween, which surrounds the idea of one night out of the year where the veil between the living and the dead is very thin, but they still celebrate that aspect of it.
"And I wonder, is it our need to celebrate our mortality? Is it our need to peer into the unknown?"
