A FASHIONISTA has put her shopping skills to the test and passed with flying frugal colors.
The only problem is she fears she won't find the same budget buys ever again.

Still, she wasn't complaining about her successful outing.
"I think I can stop thrifting now, my life is complete. There is no way I am ever going to top what I found at the thrift yesterday," said the shopper behind (@makeshiftthrift).
She showed off the designer label of her first find.
"I found my dream Max Mara coat for 80 bucks which is admittedly still a lot for me but this coat retails for a few grand," she said.

The style watcher also couldn't believe she had found the high-end buy in her size.
She tried on the brown double-breasted wool coat that she was excitedly able to add to her wardrobe.
"I really am so grateful for thrifting because this coat was so out of reach for me and now I get to have it which is really, it sounds crazy, but a dream come true," she said.
Her fans were also obsessing over the frugal shopper's finds.

"You hit that jackpot - I would die if I found a Max Mara coat," said one follower.

Yet another big fan of the brand is Meghan Markle who can regularly be spotted in similar styles.
A Max Mara camel coat almost identical to the thrift find sells for $3,690.
The outerwear is described as being lightweight and water-resistant.
The thrifting gods had also blessed her with another budget buy - a Max Mara skirt.
She worked the red and white tweed number that she thought was ideal for work and also came with another promising price tag.
"It was only ten bucks and the weight of the fabric was so gorgeous and substantial," she said.
She was still in disbelief over her designer shopping trip.
"I think it's going to take me a few days to come off the high of this haul," she said.
Others were envious of her goods but still couldn't help but comment on her high-end style.
