A CHRISTMAS tree from Home Depot has gone viral, but some customers claim it has a crippling flaw.

A TikTok user posted a review of Home Depot's viral Christmas tree, and while some commenters were fawning over the tree, others pointed out a key issue.

While many viewers thought the tree was stunning and wanted to know where to get it, others felt it was way too bright to be inside.

One Home Depot customer said they bought the tree and had to return it just days later for their health.

"I bought it kept it for three days and took it back because it was giving me headaches at night," a commenter said.

The Christmas tree features 3,400 LED lights, causing the tree to be extremely vibrant.

This vibrance was part of why the tree went viral in the first place. It can also change colors and is labeled as the "most realistic" by Home Depot.

The tree is also a bargain, selling for only $500 while some other realistic trees can sell for close to $1,000.

It has extremely positive reviews on Home Depot's website, with 4.4 out of five stars from 920 reviews.

The TikToker who posted the review showed how the tree illuminated her yard because of how bright it was.

One commenter jokingly thanked the reviewer for posting the video to deter them from buying the bright tree.

"I’m so glad I watched this, my eyes can be a little sensitive to light," the commenter said.

"I’m so glad you deterred me from putting the sun in my living room."

One commenter offered a solution to those struggling with the extreme brightness of the viral tree.

They said installing a dimmer on the outlet where the tree is plugged in would let homeowners turn the brightness down on the tree, making the light more tolerable.

"We have a tree that is white and bright. too bright for me. I found a dimmer plug on Amazon for it and it works perfect!" the comment said.

The reviewer said they ordered one as well and hoped it would help.

The U.S. Sun reached out to Home Depot for comment but did not immediately hear back.
